Theme: The Opportune Return  Text: Rith 1:22 22 So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess her daughter-in-law with her, who returned from the country of Moab. Now they came to Bethlehem at the beginning of barley harvest.  Of all the troubles Naomi and Ruth have been through their arrival in Bethlehem is met with good news. It was the harvest of barley. Dear beloved in the Lord, God is good at ensuring His children do not lack any good thing. It was through the harvest the Lord divinely connected Ruth to Boaz and Obed was born. Obed brought much joy to Naomi and wipe away her tear. The Lord has the seasons in His care and He implores them to the benefit of His children.  PRAYER: Abba! Father, thank You for always making a way out for Your children. As You have led Naomi home at the time of the harvest, please usher us into harvests in our homes, businesses, investments, careers, and every area of our lives in the Name of Jesus Christ. 

Theme: Mara Text: Ruth 1:20&21 20 But she said to them, “Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. 21 I went out full, and the Lord has brought me home again empty. Why do you call me Naomi, since the Lord has testified against me, and the Almighty has afflicted me?”  Ever lost something valuable in life? Guess you thought that was the end of everything for you. So is the story of Naomi for when her fellow women were happy to have her back and called her by her name (which means pleasant) she ask them to address her as Mara instead. Mara means bitterness the opposite of her name. She felt empty and troubled in spirit so asked why do you call me Naomi, since the Lord has testified against me, and the Almighty has afflicted me? Dear beloved in the Lord no matter how you feel or the situation you are in, remember God has not abandoned you. He has a purpose and reason for your situation and He will bring you to an expected end.  PRAY...
