DEVOTION ~ NO CONDEMNATION IN CHRIST
Theme: No Condemnation in Christ Text: Romans 8:1-2 8 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. The human race has lived in condemnation from the time of Adam until Christ came to die for all, and He became the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. By this act, the writer of Romans tells us that there is therefore, NOW no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. The emphasis on NOW is to admonish us that salvation is attained right in this life before the Day of the Lord. To be in Christ means walking in accordance with the will of the Holy Spirit. Resisting any urge to walk in the flesh or attain self-righteousness. The law of Moses binds us to sin and death for a breach in one is a breach in the entire law.
