CHARACTER STUDY ~ THE GIANTS
In today's devotion, we shall study the giants mentioned in the Bible. The first record of giants is in Genesis. In those days, giant Nephilites lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient times. Subsequently, other giants such as giants of Gath, Anakim, and Emim were mentioned in the Bible. Some Characteristics of the Giants: √ The Nephilites: They are believed to be children of the sons of God who impregnated women of the earth. Due to their stature, they were heroes and famous warriors of ancient times. √ The Giants of Gath: These giants relate to the Philistine giant Goliath whom David killed. Goliath is said to be over nine feet tall. He was killed by David with a stone slung into his forehead.
