His mother’s name was Jedidah the daughter of Adaiah of Bozkath. 2 And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord , and walked in all the ways of his father David; he did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. We are called at every stage of our lives to serve God and the people He has entrusted in our care. Don't let the fame and pleasures of others hedge you into doing what everyone is doing when especially it goes contrary to God's will. Josiah was only eight years old when he began to reign but did what was right in the sight of God. Godly counsel is one key thing to shape how we carryout responsibilities when serving.
