DEVOTION ~ CAN ANYONE FORBID?

Text: Acts 10:46b&47 Then Peter answered, 47 “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? ” In yesterday's devotion, we learned that the Gentiles had received the gift of the Holy Spirit to speak in tongues and to magnify the Name of the Lord. The text for today is Peter's response to what will hinder the Gentiles from being baptized. Many of us have clouded our judgment with tradition and outdated principles such that we are unable to embrace changes. God is not static and has shown in the text that, He shines His light of redemption on anyone who believes in Jesus Christ.
