DEVOTION ~ AN EPISTLE TO LAODICEA
Theme: An Epistle to Laodicea Text: Revelation 3:14 14 And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God' The text for today is the Lord's epistle to the final church and gives an introduction of who He is to the church in Laodicea. The Lord reveals Himself in three unique ways: Amen; Faithful and True Witness; and Beginning of the creation of God. We shall look at the uniqueness of the Lord in our devotion. First, Christ is Amen! Amen means so be it or let it come to pass. It is recorded in 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him (Jesus) are “Yes,” and in Him “Amen.” This implies all things God promises in Him are as they ought to be or have come to pass as expected.
