DEVOTION ~ PERSECUTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS
Theme: Persecuted for Righteousness Text: Matthew 5:10-12 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. In today's devotion, we will be looking at being persecuted for righteousness' sake. What it implies is that, you're suffering for choosing to walk rightly in all you do for the glory of God. Your decision to act godly will offend those who are ungodly. So, they will do whatever they have to do to make you uncomfortable in continuing to do good.
