Theme: Self Destruction Text: Proverbs 29:1 He who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck, Will suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. The Journey of life comes with some circumstances that often lead people astray. The best form to bring them on track is to rebuke them. A child of God that scoffs rebuke has not really learned to walk with the Lord. For the Lord chastens those that He loves (Proverbs 3:12; Hebrews 12:6-11). An open rebuke is far better than secret love (Proverbs 27:5-7). Don't harden your heart when you're being rebuked. Do well to pounder over concerns raised when you're being rebuked and act wisely to avoid destruction. Especially in this moment of COVID 19, it is advisable to adhere to state officials decrees. If you do otherwise, you're putting yourself at risk as well as others around you. Just as the Father won't be pleased with arrogance, likewise state officials won't tolerate it at all.
