DEVOTION ~ KEPT BACK
Theme: Kept Back Text: John 16:3&4 3 And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. 4 But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you. In yesterday's devotion, we looked at how people wrongly serve God to the point of killing others. Today, we will continue to look at why Christ kept this from His disciples until now. Christ has been with His disciples there was no need for them to feel unsafe. He could command anything including the storm to be still. But His physical absence created room for His adversaries to prey on the disciples. Since the knowledge of the Father as we saw yesterday is not in such individuals, they act ignorantly; Apostle Paul as an example did valiant things against the disciples.
