DEVOTION ~ THE OMNISCIENT CHRIST
Theme: The Omniscient Christ Text: John 16:29-30 29 His disciples said to Him, “See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech! 30 Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God.” In yesterday's devotion the Lord told His disciples a time comes that He would speak plainly with them not figuratively. Hallelujah! Before He was done speaking with them, the disciples' understanding was opened and they said, “See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech! The Word of God is settled and cannot be altered. Gaining understanding made the disciples to believe that Christ came from the Father, and knew all things so no one dare to question Him. Dear beloved in the Lord, our Omniscient Saviour is able to open the eyes of our understanding to the things of the Lord.
