DEVOTION ~ HOLD FAST TO WHAT YOU HAVE
Theme: Hold Fast to What You Have Text: Revelation 2:24&25 24 "Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. 25 But hold fast what you have till I come." In yesterday's devotion, we learned that Jezebel the prophetess of doom has misled the servants of God in the church in Thyatira. The text for today clarifies that not all of the servants of God have embraced this evil practice of adultery and idolatry. The message of God comes to such undefiled individuals to hold fast to what they have till the second coming of Christ. Dear beloved in Christ, although moral decadence exists in our society, we must ensure we don't engage in them. We are not accountable to human beings but to God and He knows even the secret things we do. Never try testing the depths of Satan for it is a slippery slope that will sweep you to destruction.
