Ever played a maze game? I guess every stage is a challenge to overcome and all it requires to win is choosing the right way. Life decisions can somehow be like a maze game - if you choose the wrong way, you will face the consequence and vice versa. In the previous devotion, we learned our Saviour has gone ahead of us to prepare a place for us in the Kingdom of God. To gain access to this Kingdom we are required to walk in the way. Theme: The Way Text: Acts 9:1&2 9 Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. It's difficult most often to understand we are misleading others when we feel convinced within us that we are on the right path. So it was, Saul felt he is fighting for the Lord to do away with blasphemy in the synagogue and persecuted the apostles. To him, the people of the Way were not walking according to the will of God. However, they were rather followers of Jesus the Only Begotten Son of God.
