Theme: Same Mind Text: Romans 12:16 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Our struggles in life often have to do with us trying to project ourselves above others. The fall of Lucifer came about as a result of what he thought of himself (I will ascend... I will... Isaiah 14:12-21). Lucifer was brought to nothing because of the "I will - pride and cynical behaviour in him". Likewise in the parable of the rich fool, his concern was on "I will..." forgetting that the harvest is the Lord's (Luke 12:13-21). The Apostle Paul expounds that we should agree with believers (have the same mind) before God. Our talk should not advance "I will.." rather it should be "We will...".
