DEVOTION ~ ABIDE UNDER GOD'S SHADOW
Theme: Abide Under God's Shadow Text: Psalm 91:1&2 91 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” It's difficult for anyone to take shelter in an unfamiliar place. This is because he/she can't be sure what might happen to him/her while there. It is therefore important to chose wisely where you take shelter. The psalmist says, if you dwell in the secret place of the Most High, you shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. If you don't dwell in God, you can't abide under His shadow. The best way to dwell in God, is through His Word. Dwelling in God's Word provides a divine shelter for you. The Word is Christ and if you have fellowship with Him, you will constantly dwell in His presence through the study of His Word and doing what He has instructed you to do.
