Theme: Equipped for Every Good Work Text: 2 Timothy 2 21 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honour, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. In yesterday's devotion, we learned that there are both vessels for honour and dishonour in the Lord's house. The text for today admonishes us to cleanse ourselves from vessels for dishonour. This change will grant us the opportunity to become vessels for honour. As stated yesterday, we ought to live to please and serve God. Dear beloved in the Lord, availing to serve God in the smallest way we can make us useful for God. The Lord equips us for every good work when we are willing to be used by Him. Irrespective of your field of work, you can attain perfection if you rely on the empowering grace of God. Theme: Equipped for Every Good Work  Text: Titus 3:1&2 3 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. Good works are evident just like the bad ones. No one needs to brag about his/her works for they'll speak whether one is present or not. The admonishing of the Apostle Paul is, good works must be a daily practice. We are not to disrespect rulers and authorities rather serve in humility. Wisdom however, must be applied in taking orders from rulers and authorities; check if the action you will take pleases the Lord or not. Be ready for goods works not bad ones. Avail yourself to do things that will bring honour to the name of God and as well promote the development of your community.
