Memory verse ~ Matthew 21:21-22
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Jesus has power over every situation even to withering the fig tree. When one comes to the knowledge of the saving grace of Jesus, the individual needs what it takes to command every situation in life and that is faith.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. It gives good testimony (Hebrews 11:1-2).What kills faith is doubt. As believers, we need to hold on to our faith at all times. Jesus said, by faith we can be able to decree and it shall be established.
Faith is mostly manifested when communicating with the Father in prayer. As we pray, we ought to believe all we've asked for has been received and in faith give thanks.
The power Jesus used in His ministry comes from God the Father. Though there are evil powers that manifest their strength, yet their potency often fails with time ( Exodus 7:8-13)
Prayer: Father, as we draw near to you each day, increase our faith. AMEN!
