Text: Proverbs 16:1-3
16 The preparations of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the spirits. 3 Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established.

Our desires are many and often insatiable. Planning in life is good but when it lacks the Creator's will, it will amount to nothing. Whatever your heart plans to do it should be done through prayers that the Lord shall establish it. Balak's plan is to lay curses on Israel when he sent for Balaam. However Balaam's reply in the verse thirty-eight of Numbers twenty-two, has an influence from his encounter with the Angel of God; 38 “Well, I have come to you now,” Balaam replied. “But I can’t say whatever I please. I must speak only what God puts in my mouth.” It is for that reason, Balaam ended up blessing Israel instead of cursing them (Numbers 22:1-24:25). What plans have you taken for your life? Only God can answer you, so lift them all to Him. Likewise have faith no evil can befall you if God doesn't wills it. They will plan against you, but only the will of God shall stand.
Purity, righteousness, and holiness come from the Lord. He is encompassed with them all. The Lord weights your intent; what you desire and think of in your spirit. David was anointed by Samuel because his intent were pure and he ascribes God's glory to Him in everything he does (1 Samuel 16:1-13). Let the love of Christ rule in you that your spirit will be filled and controlled by the Holy Spirit.
The Lord makes wealth and adds no sorrows (Proverbs 10:22) so committing your works to Him, is the best choice you'll make because His blessings will fall continually over your labour. Nothing is hard for God, trust Him and He will bring you to an expected end.
Prayer: Into Your Hands o God so I entrust my whole life. Your perfect will be done in my life even now and forevermore in Jesus name. AMEN!
