Theme: Ushering In the King of Glory Text: Psalm 24:7-10 7 Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah You're a divine tent of the Lord for His Holy Spirit dwells in you (1 Corinthians 3:16). To enter into every tent, there's the need to pass through the gate. It is only an unauthorized person who jumps wall or makes use of illegal means to enter into the tent (John 10:1-3). Dear beloved in the Lord, you're created in the image of God and Christ is your Shepherd, Lord and the King of Glory. You can't welcome a guest into your house with your heads bow down. What are you ...

Theme: The Intent of Man Text: Jeremiah 17:9-13 9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it? 10 I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings. 11 “As a partridge that broods but does not hatch, so is he who gets riches, but not by right; It will leave him in the midst of his days, and at his end he will be a fool.” 12 A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary 13 O Lord, the hope of Israel, all who forsake You shall be ashamed. “Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters.” The heart conceives a whole lot of things ranging from evil to good. As mortal as we are, we can't tell what is in the heart or mind of an indi...

Theme: Trust in the Lord Text: Jeremiah 17:5-8 5 Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. 6 For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. 7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. As humans, we are to set our mind on God than our fellow human beings.  The Bible spelt it out clearly that, curse is any man who trust in man and make flesh his strength. Many have turn to trust their safety in ...

Theme: R each Out With the Good News Text: Isaiah 52:7 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Reaching out to others with the word of God is a beautiful duty to carry on with. Your core duty as a Christian, is to propagate the gospel of Christ Jesus. This message is of peace and seeks to redeem a lost world from destruction. If you desire to save a soul from perishing, you need to share the word of God with that soul. You have the responsibility to spread the libration and salvation news to others. Wake up from your slumber and perform this duty faithfully. Prayer: Abba Father, give me grace to spread the gospel of truth so as not to engage in slander in Jesus name. Amen!

Theme: Shield in the Blood of Jesus Text:  Psalm 129:2-4 2 “Many a time they have afflicted me from my youth; Yet they have not prevailed against me. 3 The plowers plowed on my back; They made their furrows long.” 4 The Lord is righteous; He has cut in pieces the cords of the wicked. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all. Though your adversaries will plot all manner of evil in your life, note that, they can't prevail for the Lord h as the final word. What challenges or troubles are you going through? Your deliverance comes from God and not man. Trust Him and He will give you victory. The adversaries plow at your back through trails and temptations. To them, they might be destroying you but they are rather preparing you for a great harvest. When a land is plowed, it is being prepared for planting. As you endure the hardship of the evil days, your story shall be transformed to reveal the glor...

Theme: How Well are You Building Your Temple? Text:  Ezra 4:1-5 4 Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the descendants of the captivity were building the temple of the Lord God of Israel, 2 they came to Zerubbabel and the heads of the fathers’ houses, and said to them, “Let us build with you, for we seek your God as you do; and we have sacrificed to Him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assyria, who brought us here.” 3 But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the heads of the fathers’ houses of Israel said to them, “You may do nothing with us to build a house for our God; but we alone will build to the Lord God of Israel, as King Cyrus the king of Persia has commanded us.” 4 Then  the people of the land tried to discourage the people of Judah. They troubled them in building, 5 and hired counselors against t...
