DEVOTION ~ THE LORD IS OUR SHEPHERD

Theme: The Lord is Our Shepherd 
Text: Psalm 80:1-3

80 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock; You who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth! 2 Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh, Stir up Your strength, and come and save us! 3 Restore us, O God; Cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!


The Lord has been a Shepherd to all, for He watches over every thing in the world. God is the only one who can bring you to an expected end if you trust your life in His care. 

The psalmist pleas to the Lord to give ear to his call knowing how wonderful the presence of God is to Israel. Dear beloved in the Lord, God's presence is with us through the Holy Spirit. Avail yourself to the Great Shepherd to lead you to a good place t
of pasture. The pasture could be an area of your life that needs a divine transformation. It could be your education, ministry, marriage, finances, career, and other important areas of your life. 

God is a Restorer and He is willing to to restore the fortune of those who put their trust in Him. If you desire a change in your life, call on God to restore you. May the Lord cause His face to shine upon you and save you. May you receive His uncommon favor in every sphere of your life even now and forevermore in Jesus name. AMEN!


Prayer: My Everlasting Shepherd, thank You for the amazing protection You have given me and all that's mine. I lay every area of my life before You, have Your own way and let Your perfect will be done in Jesus' name. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
