DEVOTION ~ MUCH MORE GLORIOUS

Theme: Much More Glorious
Text: 2 Corinthians 3:7-11

7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? 9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. 10 For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels. 11 For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious

In our previous devotion, we looked at how the law condemns but grace gives life. We also learned that, the law was written on stones but in our dispensation, we have the written Word in our heart. Today, we will look at the glory of the two and their differences. Glory comes with the law and grace however, the glory that came with the law was passing away whereas, grace has come to stay forever. If in the dispensation of Moses, this passing glory did mighty works, then what won't the grace of God through His Holy Spirit not do?

Dear beloved in the Lord, the ministry of the Holy Spirit is what you need to have a shift, transformation and encounter in life. The ever presence of God's glory is made manifest through the Holy Spirit. He dwells in you and so you have much more glory than the people in the era of Moses. The glory does not only seek to perfect your spiritual life but as well give you perfection in your family, social, career, and everyday life. You have the glory of God that excel by virtue of Christ's Blood to excel in every good work, so do not let the storms of life make you doubt its efficacy.

Prayer: Father of all GRACE and glory, take Your praise, honor and adoration for the endless presence of Your glory in my life, family and the body of Christ as a whole. In the name of Christ Jesus, I have the glory of God and I walk in tremendous glory in every sphere of my life. AMEN!
