DEVOTION ~ THE PLANTED GARDEN
Theme: The Planted Garden
Text: Genesis 2:8&9
8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
God never position us in life to lack any good thing. From the time of old, He made life easier for Adam by the provision of a garden. It was just not an ordinary garden but one that had been cultivated already. The essence of the planted garden was to make man see the beauty of nature and as well have food to eat. God always make provision for our pleasure and satisfaction don't be deceived by the devil to seek worthless pleasures.
In whatever capacity you've been called to serve this year and beyond, note that God has already strategically made provision for you. Yours is to draw nearer to God and ask Him to lead you. There are choices to make in the year; the choice to be obedient or not. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Dear beloved in the Lord, you need to be attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit to make the right choices throughout the year.
Prayer: God Most High, thank You for the beauty of Your divine provision. Spirit of the Living God guide me to enjoy every provision the Lord has made for me this year and beyond. I declare I'm possessing my possessions in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
My eyes are fixed on the beauty of the provisions of the Lord...
