Theme: You are a Covenant Child

Text: Acts 3:24&25

24 Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days. 25 You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’


God established a covenant with Abraham to bless the families of the earth through him. This covenant materialized in Christ Jesus. There is no contradiction in what was said by the prophets of God concerning this covenant in Christ Jesus. They all look forward to the fulfillment of it. Dear beloved in the Lord you are a child of covenant and in you shall blessings flow to others. If God has kept His covenant with Abraham over thousands of years and still holds on to it, what is there that He cannot do for you? Do not be defined by your challenges but rather define the challenge by who you are in Christ Jesus. Never attempt to detach yourself from this covenant but rather embrace it and employ it daily in all spheres of your life. Covenant is speaking over every sphere of your life therefore step out in confidence knowing you are blessed by the Lord.


PRAYER: Covenant keeping God there is none like You and none can ever be compared to You. Unto You be all praise, honor, and adoration. May Your covenant go ahead of me and speak blessings in every area of my life. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
