Theme: The Living Sacrifice
Text: Romans 12:1-2

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

God's mercies is great and is renewed every morning towards humanity. Paul's plea is that, the church presents itself as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God.

Sacrifices are sacred and often treated with all piety. When you live a life of a living sacrifice, then you are fleeing from or doing away with anything that contaminates you, either in heart or the mind. Your focus is solely to God and how well to please Him. Your body then paves way for the complete indwelling of the Holy Spirit for a reasonable service (1 Corinthians 3:16-17).

Conforming to the world is living a reckless life without acknowledging the Lord. It takes away the fear of the Lord from your heart and chokes you on each side with worldly pleasure and its consequences.
The sure way to renew your mind is in the study of the Word of God. A constant Devotion in the Word, mediation and prayer shapes how you perceive life's circumstances.

Prayer: Spirit divine, You are welcome to make Your home in my heart and life. AMEN!
