Theme: Guard Your Heart and Thoughts From Evil
Text: Luke 22:1-6
Memory verse: Luke 22 :3-4
3 Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. 4 So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them.
The Passover feast commemorates the deliverance of Israel from slavery in Egypt (Exodus 12:18). As plans are underway for this to be observed in the days of Jesus, evil took the hearts of the leaders (Scribes and the Chief Priests) and a disciple - Judas Iscariot.
This evil plot brought life to humanity than cutting short the expectations of those who flowed Jesus and listened to His teaching. Dear beloved, do not give chance to the devil to manipulate you in destroying others. As you go through this passion week, avail yourself for the Holy Spirit to use you rather than conforming to the devil's deceits.
Be mindful the thoughts you have towards others. Is it good or bad? Will it please you if others have such thoughts concerning you and what will be your response if you get to know of these evil intentions?
A word not rightly said to a brother or sister can shatter dreams and lives. Money should not rob you of your integrity. Judas gave in cheaply to thirty pieces of silver. Today, it could be far bigger than that, but do not fall to it. (Proverbs 16:8; 13:11; 10:2-26).

Prayer: My Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, help me to flee from evil manipulations. Teach me to walk in Your will. AMEN!
