Theme: Your Source of Strength
Text:
Jeremiah 17 :14-18

Memory verse: Jeremiah 17 :14
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

In the preceding verses (Jeremiah 17:5-13) we've learnt we should trust the Lord in all situations. Today's opening text tells us who God is. He is the Mighty Healer and Savior of the world. The Lord heals us of every ill heath; be it physical or spiritual. Whatever is your challenge in life, the Lord is able to heal and restore you. His saving grace is open to all who believe and call on him (Romans 10:13-14). Do not be discouraged by the blasphemous utterances of people towards the Lord. You may go through pain, but understand victory is yours if only you know the God you're serving (2 Corinthians 4:8-10).

When you put your confidence in the Lord, He will never disappoint you in the days of trouble. Though He will chastised you, don't draw away from Him. For He chastens those He loves ( Hebrews 12:6-11).

Your accusers will be put to shame if you seek the face of the Lord at all times. They will come in one way but flee in seven ways (Deuteronomy 28:7). Your foes will be completely disgraced when they see the Mighty Hand of God at work in your life.

Prayer: Give me victory O God, over all life's challenges in Jesus name. AMEN!
