Theme: Your Worth in Bringing Others to Christ
Text: Jude 20-23
Text: Jude 20-23
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.

The epistle of Jude is essential to all believers to hold on to daily. It throws light on the shortcomings of humanity and the saving power of God. The Exodus is briefly highlighted likewise the fallen angels. It also mentioned crooks who have entered into the ministry (wolves in sheep skins).
The text for our consideration today is on building up our faith in all purity and drawing others to this saving grace.
Without the word of God and constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit, it's impossible to keep our faith intact. The Word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. The best guide on the journey is the Holy Spirit.
Christ gave us a final law on love. That, we should love as He has loved us (John 13:34). It is therefore necessary in our walk unto salvation this Love must be evident in our actions. This Love takes away pride and cynical behaviors from us. It nudges us to be conscious of our judgment over others as we also are likely to fall if we do not stand firmly (verse 22-23).
In correcting others who have gone astray, it needs to be done tactically so as not to discourage the offender but rather bring him/her to the saving power of God. And as we encourage others, let us also keep ourselves from worldly pleasures that defies our garment. We must always be alert so the little foxes (evil schemes of the devil) does not entice us into staining our garment of righteousness.
Prayer: Father, I avail myself to be used for Your glory. Empower me to draw more people to Your saving grace each day of my life in Jesus name. AMEN!
