Theme: Fear Cripples Victory
Text: Numbers 13:21-33

Memory Verse ~ Numbers 13:30

30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”

Having set out in full confidence, the spies did well and carried out every instruction given them by Moses. Assessing your own life, have you been able to fully accomplish your given tasks?  How well did you do it? Was it to expectation or there were lapses? Usually the end justifies the work done.

Though they've done their work well, fear sets in as a destruction to all the bravery displayed. Fear cripples victory. Once fear manifests itself in you, it births doubts which weakens the power of overcoming. Beloved, fear is sinful, and it has been a part of our fathers of old and still lingers in our mist. We need to battle this out of our lives and hold on to the truth of God's promises in faith. Where our faith fails, fear dominates and it's sin (Romans 14:23).

As the others were causing panic, the leader of the household of Judah, Caleb (Numbers 13:6) gave a different view in the thirtieth verse. Who is representing your family, organization, church, community and nation as the head?  Do you intercede on their behalf?  Are their actions and decisions conforming to the will of God?  If they are not, then begin to pray and release them from every power limiting them. Beloved, Caleb's opinion was different and this accounted for him and Joshua to enter into the land of promise whilst the others couldn't  (Numbers 14:30 & Joshua 14:6-15). There's a spiritual battle to fight for in your family, organization, church, community and nation. Do not rest until victory is attain. What have you been fed with concerning the situations around you? Have you been told it's bigger than you? Or you're like grasshopper before your giants?  Rebut that opinion with the words of Caleb. Tell the Goliath of your destiny you're coming against it in the name of the Lord (1 Samuel 17:45-47). Whenever fear comes to play it's pranks in your mind, respond to it with the word of God.

Prayer: I intercede for all leaders in my family, organization, church, community and nation this day. Father, take away fear from them and grant them courage and faith to lead us to the land of promise. Strengthen us all to support each other in all things in Jesus name. AMEN!
