Theme: Every Lip Shall Glorify the Lord.
Text: Daniel 3:26-30

Memory Verse ~ Daniel 3:28-29

28 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel[g] and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! 29 Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”

If the Lord be for us, what harm can locate you (Romans 8:31)? The Hebrew boys were not hurt in the fiery furnace. Even their garment were in perfect shape without the scent of smoke. That's the gracious work of God. He keeps watch over His  own and never fails in His promises. Beloved, are you going through some challenges and trusting God to come out victorious?  He will do it for you like these Hebrew boys if you don't give up in trusting His saving grace ( Psalm 91; 121).

Oh!  The proud king acknowledged the servants of the Most High God. When the hand of God works in your favour even where you've been rejected, you'll rule mightily. This is because, the power of God is revealed in your life( Revelation 15:4).

As believers, we need to live well so as to glorify our King and Lord ( Matthew 5:14-16). If we do the same things with the people of the world, there will be no distinction amongst us to give praise our God. Nebuchadnezzar has seen clearly that, there is only one true God and has ascribe his glory to Him.  He even instructed his subjects not to profane the name of the Almighty God.

Prayer: Victory shall be ours when we raise our hands and You o, Lord fight the battle. Fill us Thou Spirit of the Living God with tongues of prayer. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
