Theme: The Throne of Righteousness
Text: Proverbs 16:10-15
10 Divination is on the lips of the king; His mouth must not transgress in judgment. 11 Honest weights and scales are the Lord’s; All the weights in the bag are His work. 12 It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, For a throne is established by righteousness 13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings, And they love him who speaks what is right 14 As messengers of death is the king’s wrath, But a wise man will appease it. 15 In the light of the king’s face is life, And his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain.
Leaders are needed in our homes, churches, institutions, communities, nations and the world at large. We just don't need leaders, but we need leaders who will promote the will of God. In promoting the will of God, justice is evident in all they do and so will not judge wrongly. Yes all honest scales are the Lord's and those who follow His steps He freely give wisdom, knowledge and understanding to rule well.
All authority is established by God no matter the kind of authority: political, Church leaders, family heads, etc. We therefore ought to pray for our leaders, and those leaders must consciously lead their followers in all humility and sound judgement ( Romans 13:1-2).
It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness as their thrones are established by righteousness. This righteousness comes from God. If you've been called to lead, know ye that, He who has called you forth is righteous and so you must have His characteristics. As a leader, be mindful who you associate with. If your associates have no reverence for God, you'll be led astray, however if the fear of God is in them, your throne will see the divine blessings of the Lord.
Prayer: Grant unto our leaders justice in all they do and may corruption be far from them that Your glory will manifest in their reign even now and forevermore in Jesus name. AMEN!
Amen....God bless you for the good work.....Am inspired...justice in leadership.
