Theme: The Lord's Deliverance
Text: Psalm 31:1-2
In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness.
2 Bow down Your ear to me, deliver me speedily; Be my rock of refuge, a fortress of defense to save me.
It is good to trust the Lord in all things irrespective of the situation. God's saving grace is sufficient unto all people. There's no record of Jehovah putting His own to shame. Though the Lord may chasten us, yet He will not give us to the will of our adversaries (Jeremiah 30:11).
The deliverance of the Lord is great. The Israelites experience His hedge covering by day as a pillar of cloud and by night as a pillar of fire (Exodus 13:21). Daniel saw the deliverance of the Lord in the lion's den (Daniel 6:21-22). Likewise the other three Hebrew boys; Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah were divinely saved from the ferry furnace (Daniel 3). What is your trouble? If you lay it before the Lord, you'll be delivered. The Lord is attentive to your calling. Call on Him and He'll deliver you.
Your defense and fortress lies in the Blood of Jesus. Speak this Blood over every challenge in your life. Don't forget by the mention of the name Jesus, every tongue must confess that Jesus is Lord ( Philippians 2:9-11). Rebuke the troubler of your destiny with the name of the Lord. You're delivered, confess and possess it in Jesus name.
Prayer: Contend with those who contend against me o God. Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me. For You are my strength. Into Your Hands I commit my spirit. AMEN!
