Theme: The Lord, Our Restorer!
Text: Jeremiah 33:12-18
12 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘In this place which is desolate, without man and without beast, and in all its cities, there shall again be a dwelling place of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down. 13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the South, in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, the flocks shall again pass under the hands of him who counts them,’ says the Lord.
14 ‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord, ‘that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah: 15 ‘In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to David a Branch of righteousness; He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 16 In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.’
17 “For thus says the Lord: ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel; 18 nor shall the priests, the Levites, lack a man to offer burnt offerings before Me, to kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.’ ”

This year has been a year of mercy. The Lord has been faithful from day one to this every day. Yes, the ugly might have happened yet God did not forsake you. Situations you knew too well you can't come out of, the Hands of the Lord brought you out with ease.
There are fields in your life; marriage, education, children, family, business, spiritual and the list is endless, that has been desolate for a long time now. Dear beloved, there is a Restorer whose promises are Ye and AMEN! (2 Corinthians 1:20). He can restore you to whole if you only put your trust in Him in obedience. He Himself has said, where there hasn't been pasture for ages, there'll be pasture again. Your field will blossom for others to come and take refuge.

God has given His promises concerning your life. How well are you prepared to lay hold of His promises? Disobedience won't give you access to claim these promises. For you not to go astray, Christ came to give you life through His death and resurrection. He is the branch of righteousness and He judges justly ( His judgment is evident in John 8:1-11; Matthew 22:15-22). Indeed Christ Jesus is the Lord our Righteousness. His words will guide you to walk rightly before God and man.

If the Lord is your shepherd, then you'll lack nothing (Psalm 23). Is there a challenge in your life, family, church, ministry, workplace, nation of who to lead? Dear friends in the Lord, God is more than able to provide a leader for you. The verse 17 & 18 emphasize what God will do concerning leadership. As the year comes to an end today, lift up a voice of prayer concerning every leadership position and ask God to prevail and give the rightful people to take up position in His vineyard and in the political world.

Prayer: Mighty God, I'm grateful for Your mercies. I pray Your be done in my life and may Your promises come true in my life even now and forevermore in Jesus name. AMEN!
