Theme: Deliverance from Death
Text: Psalm 116:3-4

3 The pains of death surrounded me, and the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow. 4 Then I called upon the name of the Lord: “O Lord, I implore You, deliver my soul!”

Troubles and sorrows surround us each day, however we can be delivered by the power of God. Evil and death may surround us yet we are not discouraged so long as we abide in the presence of God. For His Word says, even if we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil for He is with us (Psalm 23:4).

It is important to call on God at all times: when you awake, during the day and when you're about to retire to bed. Christ has conquered death and has given us such grace to overcome in His name. Whatever be your pain in life, there's someone able to deliver you from them all. Set your heart and mind unto the Lord. The church which is you and I, needs to understand that, Christ will build us up and not even the gates of hades shall overcome it.

Prayer: Dear Saviour Jesus, I plead Your mercy to deliver us from all deadly pestilence. Restore to us the good of the land and may we see Your glory at all times in Your name have we prayed. AMEN!
