Theme: You're Welcome Lord! 
Text: 2 Samuel 6:11

11 The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his household.



Your body has now become an ark for the Lord because it's the temple of the Holy Spirit. In this moment when the world is troubled by COVID 19, it can be likened to the fear that gripped David when the Lord struck Uzzah. You shouldn't be discouraged but rather, invite the Holy Spirit to come into your life.

Christ is standing at the door of your heart knocking, will you let Him  in, or not. If you let Him in, you'll experience the total peace from Him just as Obed-Edom enjoyed for three months. Christ told His disciples in John 14:27 that, His peace is not equivalent to the peace of the world. It is this peace every soul needs in this pandemic. Dear beloved, the presence of God in your life, will quench the fear, the psychological trauma, emotional discomfort and the stigma going through your mind, the minds of victims and even non victims of COVID 19.

There is a blessing awaiting you when you open that door of your heart to Christ and invite Him in. Divine presence is what you need now not wealth.


Prayer: Abba! Father, You're welcomed into my heart. Have a seat in me and guide me to be a blessing to all humanity in this moment of pandemic. Help me to do what I ought to do to bring healing to my people and the world in Jesus' name. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
