Theme: Risen Without Limitations

Text: Matthew 28:1-8

28 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.

5 But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7 And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”

8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.

Hallelujah! Fellow members of the Body of Christ. It's an awesome feeling to experience the power of the resurrection. Understanding the power of the resurrection, continually boosts your faith in the Lord. 

Christ was put to death, buried and guards were charge to keep watch over Him. You know why? So His body won't be taken away by the disciples to deceive people He's risen. But the unexpected happened. A great earthquake occurred and just an angel from heaven came to roll back the stone from the entrance of the tomb. God doesn't need multitudes to accomplish His mission on earth. There's something dead (without hope) around you. Something that's impossible to come out of with ease. You've depended on your strength for long to overcome it, but it won't just let you be. The best person to speak to now, is God. He's able to deliver you and bring to life all that's dead. If an angel rolled away the stone, know it that, your predicaments would also be rolled away by the power of the Holy Spirit if you surrender to God. Those that thought they could suppress you, will tremble at the power of God that will bring your deliverance. The verse four says, and the guards shook for fear of Him and became like dead men. So shall your troubles be.

Sometimes, you loose something so precious to you and you're afraid of not getting it back the same as it was. That's how those women  were feeling looking at what has happened: their Lord has been taken away and they don't know where He has been kept. But I came to tell you today, do not be afraid. Christ has been transformed from the graves to a Supernatural Being. So His place can no longer be with the dead. His tomb was empty to testify He's risen indeed. Christ has risen for you in every field of your life: health, wealth, marriage, children, family, finances, career and just name them. The power of the resurrection will revive whatever ought to be revived in your life.

Dear beloved, when you encounter the power of God, you need to testify and proclaim His goodness. Like the women, go into the world and tell others Christ has risen. A soul is still crying to the Lord, you hold the answer, take a step of faith and reach out to him/her.

Prayer: Hosanna! Save me o God from the nest of darkness and bring to life every element in me that is dead. To You alone be the hallelujah for Christ is indeed risen for the salvation of my soul. In Jesus' name have I prayed. AMEN!
