Theme: Freedom in Christ Jesus 
Text: Galatians 5:1

 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.


Once upon a time, Christ Jesus came and walked upon this earth in human form. He was crucified, buried, risen and is now seated with the Father. What He did many years ago, is not for fun but for the liberation of the human race who believe in Him. Having been born again into Christ, you are entitled to this freedom. Freedom from condemnation, eternal death, guilt, and just name them. You're no more a candidate to these things. But how well are you protecting this freedom?

The Apostle Paul admonished the the Galatians to stand fast in the liberty of Christ. You can only stand firm if you abide by the words of the Saviour. Though grace abounds, it does not warrant you to keep sinning. You need to walk in the light of Christ and show yourself as His servant (Romans 6).

The more you entangle yourself in the things of the world, the more you draw yourself into perpetual bondage. Beloved, the times are tough, but the Holy Spirit can help you to overcome the edge to sin. Do not abuse your liberty least you loose it completely.


Prayer: In You I have my liberation not in my strength or wealth. Lord Jesus, help me to hold fast this liberty and do what is right. In Your name have I prayed. AMEN!

Apollos means "one who destroys or a destroyer". He was a New Testament figure who steadily grew to become a servant of Jesus through ministry. DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
