Theme: God is Faithful! 
Text: 2 Thessalonians 3:3-5

3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you.
5 Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.


God is not like a man that He should relent of His promises. If God says He will be with you, He surely will. He is faithful and that's His nature.

If you also abide in God's will faithfully, you will be established or strengthen and guarded from all evil. The righteous isn't moved by circumstances but the wicked flee when no one is chasing. Dear beloved in the Lord, in difficult moments like this, what you need to focus on is God and how best to build your relationship with Him. Let the church (body of Christ) testify of your faithfulness in Christ Jesus especially with His command to love.

There's one person who can help you to abide in the Lord's command. He is in the person of the Holy Spirit. Christ said, when the Holy Spirit comes, He will guide you in all truth (John 16:13). Yes, He will direct your heart into the love of God and into the patience of Christ as we await His second coming.



Prayer: Faithful Father, I pray You direct me to be faithful just as You're and build me up in patience as I await Your Glorious Day in Jesus name have I prayed. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
