Theme: HOSANNA IN THE HIGHEST!
Text: Matthew 21:4-9

4 All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: 5 “Tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”
6 So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them. 8 And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
“Hosanna to the Son of David!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
Hosanna in the highest!”

It's Palm Sunday, to God alone be praise. Over the years, you often mark this day moving on the streets with palm branches in praise of our Lord Jesus Christ. But this year, it isn't so. Has something really changed? Not really, because this year, in your own way, you've welcomed the King into your life. The tradition you've hold on for long has now manifested spiritually in your life. You're are the daughter of Zion (the bride of the Lord). The bride is often filled with joy in welcoming the King. How did you welcome Him today?

The King has demonstrated His kingship as well as His humility by riding on a colt, the foal of a donkey (Zechariah 9:9). He wasn't denied the colt, because it is His and wants to make use of it. Likewise, you must not withdraw yourself from being used by the Holy Spirit. Have you availed yourself to be used by the Lord? If there's a weight pulling you down in doing so, lay it before Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to make good use of you.

The multitude presented their challenges in praise to the Lord. Hosanna to the Son of David implies save us oh Son of David. His praise was given Him; Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! Dear beloved in the Lord, this simply means salvation can only come from He who humbles Himself and whom God has lifted above everything. Philippians 2:9-11 says;
 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Jesus has the key to your redemption and no other person can give you this. If you've still not surrounded to Him, then it's not too late to do so. Shalom!

Prayer: Dear God, thanks for the grace of redemption through Christ Jesus. I pray Your glory prevail in all the earth especially as we look on to You for healing in this pandemic of COVID 19. Hosanna in the Highest~ save Your people in Jesus name. AMEN!
