Theme: Pay Your Vows
Text: Psalm 116:12-14

12 What shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits toward me? 13 I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.
14 I will pay my vows to the Lord now in the presence of all His people.

It's the first day of the fifth month of the year. Praise be to God for the wonderful things He is doing in our lives. It's not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord that we are alive. Let's join the psalmist to ask, what shall we render to the Lord for all His benefits toward us? Praise and gratitude is what the Lord requires of us. Make known God's goodness in your life by sharing your testimonies and proclaiming the faithfulness of God. The cup of salvation is in Christ Jesus, lift Him up in adoration by singing His appellation at all times.

As you praise the Lord, pay your vows through offering, tithe, service in His vineyard and showing kindness to the poor, widows, aged, orphans, destitute, less privileged and all who need some kind of help. In this COVID 19 season, though the brethren are not meeting together, yet avenues have been created for you to pay your vows, do well to pay your vows. You don't need people to see you're giving, no you don't need them. In  your closet (in your homes as you can't have fellowship in the open) send your offering and tithe to show your appreciation to the Lord. Do well to also show kindness to that neighbor who is starving, pressed down on all side, pray for a sister or brother battling with COVID 19. Your help will put a smile on a face and as well strengthen that soul in the Lord. You're a miracle someone is hoping for to stand at his/her door. Don't harden your heart pay your vow to the Lord in appreciation for all His benefits toward you.

Prayer: Dear God, I'll sing of Your glory at all times for all the benefits You've blessed me with. I pray Lord, I will not be an ingrate by not paying my vows. Help me to faithfully pay my vows to You in Jesus' name have I prayed. AMEN!
