Theme: Jesus Christ
Text: Colossians 1:15-18
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Christ Jesus is the Son in the Triune God. He is the image of the invisible God. No one has ever seen God, but Christ has been seen by many. Once He has been seen, then humanity has equally seen the face of God.
According to the Gospel of John, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made (John 1:1-3). He is the Creator of all things. The spoken word in Genesis by God to bring all things into being (Genesis 1). Whatsoever is in existence be it human, animals, plants, thrones, powers are all subject to Him.
The first to resurrect and making Him the firstborn of all creation. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End (Revelations 1:18). If the Lord says His name is I AM THAT I AM, then you must understand, His nature qualifies Him for that, knowing He is the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God wise and Supreme (1 Timothy 1:17).
Christ is everything you need from your family, neighborhood, community, nation, continent, world, church, business, education, and every sphere of your life to make it more meaningful. Look to Jesus now and you'll find peace.
Prayer: Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes, Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, thy great Name we praise.
Great Father of glory, pure Father of light,
Thine angels adore thee, all veiling their sight;
All laud we would render: O help us to see ’Tis only the splendour of light hideth thee. AMEN!
Amen
