DEVOTION ~ ENDORSE THE WORD OF GOD!

Theme: Endorse the Word of God 

Text: Deuteronomy 11:18-21

18 “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21 that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.

God's word must be wherever we find ourselves. It must sink in your heart, soul, imprint on your hands and forehead as well as your children. What you often see is what you register in your mind and soul. That's why children must be led to the Lord in the early years of their life if not, it will be difficult for them to accept to do the Father's will.

The more you talk about God with others, the more you learn about Him. This discussion is made easier if the Word of God floods you: You think about it, your soul desires it, you have stickers of it on your walls, jewelry, clothes, bags, shoes, etc. What's in your mind, your soul registers into your spirit, and give the hands the power to write them out for the mouth to speak it to sooth the heart and then the legs carry this message to the world by distributing it evenly to all in words and deeds. That's to say promoting the Gospel in your everyday life. 

Don't always watch comedies with your children, watch God centered shows with them. Even some cartoons are biblical and it shapes them to know what's in the Bible. Guide them to love these biblical shows done worldly shows on TV. If your child can sing or rap worldly songs from beginning to end but can't recite a chapter of the Bible, it's a total disgrace. You should bow your head in shame for not nurturing this child in the Lord. 

The Word of God is life to those who believe in it. You'll possess what's yours and multiply greatly if you allow He who gives wealth and adds no sorrows to be Sovereign in your life. Endorse the spread of the Word of God in your home, office, community, nation, and the world at large.

Prayer: Father, I desire to arise and return to bed with You. Teach me how best I may proclaim You to my family, children, neighbors, friends, and every living being I meet in this life's journey. Help me to promote Your Word in all I do in Jesus' name have I prayed. AMEN!
