DEVOTION ~ PRAISE THE LORD!

Text: Psalm 117

Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! 2 For His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!



Praise is giving honour to God and it is also a means to show appreciation with a grateful heart. In praising God, we count our blessings as well as the many troubles of life we've overcome by the mercies of God. So when we lift up our praise we surely do understand what we're saying of the Lord. He's the God of both the mountains and the valleys. 

One great thing to always be thankful for, is the gift of salvation. The redemption work of Christ on the cross has fully expressed the merciful kindness of God towards a perishing world. Before God now, there are no Jews nor Gentiles. We are all one in Christ Jesus. We are His children and He is Our Father.

His truth endures forever with us. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Light that abides forever. Dear beloved in the Lord, let us lift up our voices and praise the Lord for all His benefits in our lives. May our lips be touched with praise to the Father in all things.



Prayer: Hallelujah! Unto Your Holy name O God. You've been merciful unto me. Your works in my life can't be numbered and so are the deliverances that come my way each passing moment. I praise You for who You are. You're God all by Yourself and none can be compared to You. I praise You in Jesus name. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
