DEVOTION ~ EXCEL IN YOUR WORK

Text: Proverbs 22:29

29 Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.


We are each blessed with jobs whether self employed or an employee in an organization. In whatever category you fall, you must accept it and work hard to excel. It is through your excellent work you'll go far in life. 

To excel with your work you need to keep practicing and never give up. If you fail, try again, don't stop until you become perfect at it. If it demands you to upgrade your educational status, please do. The more knowledge you acquire, the better the rate of your acceleration to becoming best at your job.

A lazy soul always find excuses as to why things aren't working well around him/her. However, a dedicated person to work tries as much as possible to find solutions to the challenges of his/her job. When last did you solve a problem at work? What challenging role have you been able to overcome lately? If you have no response to these questions, it implies, you're not putting in much effort to improve your skills.

Be driven by passion in all you do and you won't have room for complaints. The excellent work you're doing will usher you in the presence of noble and great people. Keep doing the good work even if no one stops to congratulate you. Your time to shine is just a step away don't hold back, keep working.



Prayer: Thank You Father for blessing me with my job. I pray for Your excellent Spirit to guide me in my job so I can do it well and perfectly. I pray the Holy Spirit to direct me in the path to go as I discharge my duties so that I don't go contrary to Your will. Help me to resist and overcome every form of attitude that does not allow me to work effectively and efficiently to achieve excellence. This I ask in Jesus' name. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
