DEVOTION ~ THE UNFAILING GRACE

Theme: The Unfailing Grace 
Text: Isaiah 54:10

10 For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.



God's love for the human race is so deep we can't comprehend it fully. No matter how we are, His arms of protection is always upon us. He gave us His only begotten Son to show it all (John 3:16). Things around us may fail but we must understand, nothing can change God's ways for our lives.

The circumstance you find yourself in today, be it good or evil, will surely go away. Look at yourself today and some ten years ago, you'll noticed the great changes in your life - academically, financially, physically, spiritually and in all angles of your life. But in all these things, God's kindness hasn't changed towards you. He has kept to His Word concerning you. What are you also doing to please Him? 

Dear friend in the Lord, God has assured us His kindness will never depart from us nor shall His covenant of peace be removed. Yes, He hasn't lied to us. Jesus is the totality of the kindness and peace of God. Out of God's mercies, He sent Jesus to redeem us. What price can we pay for this? All God requires of us is to trust and follow Him in obedience. May the unfailing peace of God abide with us all. 



Prayer: Father of mercy, kindness, peace and love. When I look upon Your goodness in my life, I just want to say, You're God and there's none like You. I pray Your perfect peace calm the storms in my life and Your kindness take seed in me so I may demonstrate this in deeds and words towards others. This I ask in Jesus' name. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
