DEVOTION ~ YOUR HORN WILL BE LIFTED!

Theme: Your Horn will be Lifted
Text: Psalm 148:13-14

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven. 14 And He has exalted the horn of His people, the praise of all His saints— Of the children of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the Lord!


The psalmist calls on all creation to praise the Lord. We are also a part of this divine calling. Irrespective of our status in life, we need to praise God. It is in the praising our lifting will be birth (God lifts up our horn). Praise must solely be directed to God in all humility and not to idols or any other thing. For God's glory is above the earth and heaven. 

When God lifts up the horn of His people, there comes about divine transformation. He usually exalts the humble and brings down the arrogant. The humble are those that honour the Lord and abide in His principles. The arrogant however fails in every capacity to honour God with their lips and substances. Such people's horn are rather crushed and not lifted. 

The exaltation of the humble can take the form of inner strength to carry out duties to perfection. This strength brings about prosperity and explains what's in proverbs that; The blessing of the Lord makes one  rich, and He adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22). May the Lord visit you with this divine blessings to have inner strength, prosperity, good health, dignity, and all heavenly grace even as your lips are opened to give praise and honour unto the Lord. Keep in mind, the lifting of your horn is embedded in the Hallelujah. Praise the Lord!


Prayer: I honour You O my Creator and God for creating me in Your image and putting Your breath in me. Holy Spirit divine teach me to honour God with my lips, heart, and substances. Father, lift the horn of my family, spouse, children, friends, ministry, career, business, investment, education, (list your expectations) in all we do. This I ask in Jesus' name. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
