DEVOTION ~ GOD HOLDS YOUR BLESSINGS

Theme: God Holds Your Blessings 
Text: Genesis 1:20-25

20 Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” 21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23 So the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.



By the Word of God, He commanded the existence of every living creature on the earth, in the sea and the sky. He gave them blessings to multiply and fill the earth, sea and the sky. He can also do so in your life if you trust your life in His care. If God can bring to life living creatures just by His Word, then know that He'll do much for you if you believe.

It takes faith to see the Hand of God at work in our lives. The birds of the air do not sow nor gather in barns yet, God makes provision for them all. The plants of the field has He also preserved, made beautiful and fruitful. You are of more value to the Lord than these creatures. All the blessings you desire are in His mouth ask Him and He will speak it out. His Word will accomplished the purpose for which He has sent it before returning to Him. May the Lord speak friutfully into your life.



Prayer: By Your Word, all things came to being. Teach my heart to trust that You're able to do all things for me. I pray Your Word come alive in me at all times that I may please You in all things. This I ask in Jesus' name. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
