DEVOTION ~ GOD IS MY SUSTAINER

Theme: God is My Sustainer 
Text: Jeremiah 17:14

14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
Save me, and I shall be saved,
For You are my praise.


God is the giver of life and He sustains it as well. For man to be whole and complete in life, he needs the presence of God. The prophet Jeremiah cried unto the Lord to heal him and he shall be healed. We also ought to cry out to the Lord to heal us. The healing must manifest in every sphere of our lives. By the help of the Holy Spirit, God is able to heal us from physical pain, bitterness, unforgiveness, anger, pride, hatred, etc that defiles our garment. We need to lay it before God and ask Him to heal us of all those pain and toxins.

Our saving grace is solely in Jesus Christ. The sacrifice of bulls and rams will not redeem us from our sins. It's only for a temporal moment. However when the Lamb of God was sacrificed on the cross of calvary, buried and arose on the third day, the glory of God brought healing and the His saving grace to us. By His stripes we are healed and whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If the Lord has healed and saved you, then your praise must be lifted to His glorious name. Sing to the Lord's praise and make known His marvelous works to all the nations. 



Prayer: My Healer and Saviour, Your works in my life are immeasurable. I've tasted and seen Your goodness in my life, family, church, community, nation and the world at large. Unto You alone do I lift up my voice to praise Your name. Receive Your praise, glory and honour. Perfect Your healing in my spiritual strength, ministry, marriage, children, family, career, business, finances, education, and every field of my life even now and forevermore in Jesus name. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
