DEVOTION ~ YOUR FIELDS SHALL BLOSSOM

Theme: Your Fields Shall Blossom
Text: Genesis 1:6-13

Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day. Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13 So the evening and the morning were the third day.

On  22nd January, 2020 we began the creation story with the theme "Let there be Light" from Genesis 1:1-5. You can refer to it for more insight. In today's devotion, we will look at God's creation of the waters, land and herbs. The heaven was made in the midst of the waters. Likewise will God bring out our glory in Christ our Living Water. Our glory will distinguish us from other mortals on earth for we shall glow like the our Saviour.

In Christ we have been sanctified (set apart) for divine purposes. Just as God gathered the waters under the firmament to one side to give way for the earth to appear, so have we also been set apart. Whatever covers our glory shall be lifted by the power of the Holy Spirit. It must give way for us to flourish and prosper in the land of the living. Our fields cannot be denied their appearances. We will arise and shine for Christ has come upon us.

The Holy Spirit works in us to make our field Blossom. We can't bear the fruit of the Spirit without the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control will nourish our field for our lives to be beautiful. God will bless our fields (marriage, children, ministry, education, career, business, finances, etc..) and command them to yield perfectly. Have faith in the Lord and your fields shall Blossom.

Prayer: Thank You Lord, for making the heaven, sea and earth with me in mind. Father, as You've set the sea apart from the earth, help me to remain focused as I'm sanctified for Your glory. Teach me Holy Spirit to walk in God's divine perfect plan for my life and help me nourish every field of my life to Blossom and reveal Your glory in my life in Jesus' name have I prayed. AMEN!
