DEVOTION ~ YOUR FRUITFULNESS CAN'T BE STOPPED

Theme: Your Fruitfulness Can't be Stopped 
Text: Exodus 1:15-22

15 Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrah and the name of the other Puah; 16 and he said, “When you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live.” 17 But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive. 18 So the king of Egypt called for the midwives and said to them, “Why have you done this thing, and saved the male children alive?” 19 And the midwives said to Pharaoh, “Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women; for they are lively and give birth before the midwives come to them.” 20 Therefore God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied and grew very mighty. 21 And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them. 22 So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, “Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.”


Yesterday we learnt the mark of victory on us provokes the enemy to attack us so as to suppress the victory in us. Today we'll be looking at another aspect of our lives that the enemy tries to also destroy. When the king realized that the task (burdens) cannot break the Israelites, he decided to take it to an angle where their strength lies. The continuity of every lineage depends on children. He therefore decided to kill the male children even before they are named. May the Lord frustrate every evil agenda to destroy your strength and progress. 

The king needed the midwives to be able to kill these children. The midwives are there to ease the burden of child labour and to protect both mother and child from any form of complications. However they are being brainwashed to kill innocent children but the fear of God couldn't let them heed to such calloused instruction. Dear beloved in the Lord, take note the adversary will always try to use those useful in your life to destroy you. You need to intercede for everyone who relates with you and as well evangelize to them.

If your way pleases the Lord, He will cause your enemies to be at peace with you. Serve the Lord in faithfulness and His deliverance shall come forth for you. Your midwives (helpers, friends, siblings, colleagues, etc) in your life will not obey the voice of deceit to harm you. If the enemy command his agents against your life and all that is yours, God will raise a standard against them. May the Mighty Hands of God fight your battles for you. Every field of your life (marriage, child bearing, ministry, education, finances, career, business, etc) shall be fruitful and will see the increase of the Lord.


Prayer: Father of life, I thank You for your mercies in every field of my life. I pray whatever evil conspiracy the host of wickedness have plotted against me be frustrated and made useless. I pray the mark of seal in the Blood of Jesus is bringing me out of every bondage, delay, disappointment, setback, etc in Jesus' name have I prayed. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
