DEVOTION ~ PROPHESIZE YOUR REDEMPTION
67 Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying: 68 “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people, 69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David, 70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, who have been since the world began, 71 That we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us, 72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant, 73 The oath which He swore to our father Abraham: 74 To grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, 75 In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.
The power of the Holy Spirit is able to make one see into the future to tell what the future holds for himself/herself and others. In the fullness of the Holy Spirit, Zacharias' fear and doubts (unbelieving spirit) was consumed and he began to Prophesied. When you avail yourself to the Holy Spirit, you will also be able to tap into this kind of glory.
Redemption is found in no other than Jesus Christ. The prophets of God made known this to the ancient fathers. Zacharias re-echoed it through his prophecy. In our dispensation, the work of redemption has been carried out already and what we look up to now is the second return of the Saviour to gather the elect to Himself. You need to plead the mercies of God not to miss this opportunity. God's will is not for anyone to perish so by His grace He redeems.
As you strive to be redeemed, you should also pray whatever is yours to claim should locate you. Ask God to redeem you, your family, ministry, career, business, and country from any form of harm. May the plots of the wicked against your life be truncated by the power of the Holy Spirit. May you be hedged into the covenant of Abraham to be delivered from the hands of your enemies. May it also strengthen you to serve the Lord faithfully without fear.
Prayer: Redeemer of my soul, I thank You for Your mercies over my life. I commit to Your care my soul, body and spirit that I may be saved from the deceit of the adversary. I as well entrust all that is mine to Your care to grant me victory and peace in all I do. This I ask in Jesus' name. AMEN!
