DEVOTION ~ GOD WILL ESTABLISH YOU
Theme: God Will Establish You
Text: Psalm 98:1-4
89 I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations. 2 For I have said, “Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens.” 3 “I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn to My servant David: 4 ‘Your seed I will establish forever, and build up your throne to all generations.’ ” Selah
God is faithful in every way with anyone who comes into covenant with Him. He demonstrated His mercies and kindness towards king David and his descendants. Likewise will He not fail concerning His doings in your life. Therefore, give thanks to God at all times.
The mercies of the Lord is built in Christ Jesus who took the punishment of the guilty upon Himself even though He knew no sin. He is a seal of God's word, for God's Word is settled in Him. If you come therfore to Christ and surrender to Him, a covenant is established that will never fail. A divine identity comes upon you to become a new creation. All previous laws, decrees and orders manipulating in your life must give way for the power of God to operate in your life.
Dear beloved in the Lord, look up to Jesus and He will make all things beautiful in your life at its appointed time. In every field of your life (marriage, education, finances, career, business, ministry, family, etc.), there is the need to take dominion because, there are thrones you must take possession of and be established. By carnal strength, you will fail woefully because, the devil and his agents will not let you have it with ease. You need the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome them and their cunning strategies. If you trust all you have in God's care, He will establish you and enlarge your tent.
Prayer: Thank You Lord God Almighty for Your mercies in my life. I appreciate the redemptive work in Christ. I surrender every sphere of my life to You and ask Your will be done. Establish me O God and enlarge my tent to the glory of Your name do I ask all these and many more in Christ Jesus. AMEN!
